SET-DB™ ADHD Protocol
According to psychiatry.org an estimated 8.4% of children and 2.5% of adults have ADHD. It’s typically identified in school children when it leads to problems in class or with schoolwork. Boys are about three times more likely to have symptoms of ADHD than girls.
Many children, an estimated 15-to-20%, have behaviors of ADHD but aren’t diagnosed because they don’t fit the full profile; i.e., they have problems at school but not at home; symptoms only occur in certain situations; or are identified with other conditions. These individuals, as well as those who have been diagnosed, may be excellent candidates for the SET-DB™ ADHD Protocol.
ADHD symptoms may result from allergy or sensitivity to almost any food, but some are more commonly associated with it than others. These are wheat (SET-DB™ has three BioSurveys that address grains), dairy, sugars, corn, yeast, peanut butter, sulfites and other food additives, and foods that contain salicylates.
However, just about any symptom can result from a sensitivity to any food or substance, including nutrients essential to the body. The SET-DB™ ADHD Protocol addresses these food categories as well as many more.
Ritalin is the first medication people think of when ADHD is concerned. It was first marketed in the mid-1950s, being approved for “minimal brain dysfunction,” as ADHD was called then. It's said to be stronger than caffeine but weaker than Benzedrine, the drug used before Ritalin.
However, many parents don't want to drug their children unless absolutely necessary. They might try the Feingold Diet or supplement plans they learn about online. Some find some level of success but many don't. The Feingold Diet is very restrictive and supplements are a mixed bag if their child is sensitive to the nutrients their parents are giving them.
This SET-DB™ ADHD Protocol approaches ADHD in slightly different but still thorough way the SET-DB™ Fibromyalgia and Thyroid Protocols approach those difficult condition. There are two plans:

Basic Plan
- 20 visits. Most practitioners follow the program as outlined in the Practitioner Manual, but there is some flexibility. Most visits are sensitivity elimination visits.
- Three Organ System Stress Tests™: two using homeopathic formulas, one to help the practitioner decide if additional supplementation is warranted.
- Progress is tracked by an ADHD Symptom Questionnaire and the Symptom Intensity Graph that shows at a glance the progress the patient has made. The questionnaire is used every five visits.
- Three supplements are used on every patient with six more available if needed.
- 30 visits. This plan allows the practitioner to help patients clear additional areas of sensitivity. Most visits are sensitivity elimination visits.
- Four Organ System Stress Tests™: three using homeopathic formulas, one to help the practitioner decide if additional supplementation is warranted.
- The practitioner chooses an additional 10 visits out of a total of 88 BioSurveys. They can finish the most common food groups or branch out into other areas.
This is what is included the SET-DB™ ADHD Protocol:

- How to set up an ADHD evaluation/consultation: what to do, what to say, which tests to run on the Elite (or Select).
- BioSurveys that run fast to help you see and help more patients each and every day. Your ADHD patients will rarely spend more than 5 minutes with you.
